How we reduce

Offsetting is not the only answer to the environmental catastrophe we face today. Carbon has still been released in the manufacturing process even if it has been offset. Just as important is a broad commitment to the carbon management hierarchy. While high quality offsetting DOES results in carbon savings, it does not directly reduce a company's baseline. Leading companies should be striving to continually reduce their baseline.

Small World has made real and significant reductions in our baseline power consumption and consequent release of carbon, through investing in natural power sources, using recycled product where possible and using natural ventilation systems and lighting.

Since 2010, we have achieved 26% reduction on our scope 1 & 2 green house gas emissions and our objective is to reduce scope 3 by 30% by 2023.
